Our college's OBC (Other Backward Classes) Cell is committed to empowering OBC students and guiding them in their academic and extracurricular pursuits. Our mission is to ensure the holistic development of OBC students, integrating them seamlessly into the mainstream and enabling them to make meaningful contributions to society.
Objectives:
- Equal Educational Opportunities: We are dedicated to promoting equality in educational opportunities for OBC students, ensuring they can excel academically.
- Financial Support: We actively assist students from OBC communities in accessing financial support from government agencies and other sources, reducing financial barriers to education.
- Scholarship Awareness: We help OBC students stay informed about various scholarship schemes offered by both Central and State Governments, enabling them to make the most of available financial aid.
- Emotional Support: The OBC Cell offers prompt counselling services for emotional emergencies arising from events on the college campus, providing a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Reservation Policy: We work diligently to ensure that the college adheres to the reservation policy set forth by the Government of Kerala, promoting fair access to educational opportunities.
- Grievance Redressal: Besides the regular grievance redressal mechanism, we provide OBC students with a dedicated avenue to address their concerns, ensuring their voices are heard and issues are resolved.
