Integrated Library Management System (LIBSOFT) facilitates library remote access so that access library resources and services can be accessed from a remote location. This include accessing digital materials, searching the library catalogue (WEB-OPAC), and utilizing online resources, all without physically visiting the library.

An electronically controlled pathway for entry, exit, and book issuance have been executed in in Newman college library through a modernized system that uses electronic technology to manage access to the library premises and facilitate the borrowing and returning of books. Users make use of the barcode in their college Identity card to mark their entry and exit logs of the library. A similar system is employed to borrow and return library materials through the barcoded catalogue of books. This technology enhances security, streamlines library operations, and offers convenience to patrons by reducing the need for manual check-ins and check-outs
