Newman College initiates the Share a Bread project, which is co-organized by the auspicious college community under the leadership of the NCC. Hundreds of food parcels are collected daily under the scheme from the community consisting of students, teachers and non-teaching staffs. The main activity of the project is to deliver the food parcels collected under the leadership of the cadets to the Divyarakshalayam for the rehabilitation of the marginalized who are mentally ill.
