Department of Botany & Biotechnology and Biodiversity Club Celebrate World Environment Day

The Department of Botany & Biotechnology at Newman College Thodupuzha, in association with the Biodiversity Club, is celebrating World Environment Day 2025 on June 5th.

The day’s events will include:

• Botanical Garden Cleaning: An initiative to maintain and enhance the college’s botanical garden.
• Biodiversity Pledge Taking: A ceremony to commit to the protection and conservation of biodiversity.

The organizing team includes Dr. Saju Abraham (HoD, Botany and Vice Principal), Dr. Jaiby Cyriac (Convener, Biodiversity Club), Dr. Anju T R (HoD, Biotechnology), Dr. Mariat George (Botany), and Ms. Rosemary Jose (Biotechnology). Join us in these efforts to promote environmental stewardship!
